DEB "Yea?"
KEN Robby said something the other day. He commented at Family Dinner that by going through all of our stuff and selling what we no longer use is kinduv like pre-managing our estate for our kids."
DEB "So we are doing them a favor now, so they don't have to deal with all our stuff later? Is that what he was saying?"
KEN "Yep ... and he was pretty appreciative." Ken takes a sip of his Shiraz and leans back in his chair, full from his meal of fish tacos with a side of Santa Fe's own Christmas salsa.
DEB "Something else we could do for them is blog about our adventure. We would be leaving them an electronic scrapbook all about the travels their mom and dad had in the empty-nester phase of their lives."
DEB Taking the last bite of her chipolte salmon, "I'll figure it out. I've seen some blogs from others -- I think I know how to get started."
KEN We should start in January. Next year, 2015, will be a big year of change for us as we go through the process to become full-time RV'ers. We should blog our way through that process."
DEB "I agree..."
KEN "...And we can share the blog with the kids once we eventually hit the road -- that way there will be some preliminary content for them to savor. And the rest of our family, too!"
DEB "I've got some friends who will want to follow along ... They will be so excited! Our blog will leave them breathless!"
I do not recall which restaurant, or even if it was at just one restaurant.
NOTE TO SELF: Old age sucks.
